Men's Soccer Trips Up Terry At Home, 5-2

BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's soccer team (3-1-0, 0-1-0) rebounded from its first loss of the season with an impressive victory over Delaware Tech-Terry on Thursday, 5-2. The Fighting Owls jumped out to a 3-0 lead and coasted for the win.
Brenton Violante gave Harford a 1-0 lead with a bullet that beat the Hawk keeper left in the 18th minute. Patrick Meagher added to the lead just before the half with a laser into the top right corner off a Kevin Webster assist.
In the 51st minute, Jacob Duarte scored his team-best fourth goal of the season on a penalty kick. He assisted on Brent Mooney's tally 14 minutes later for a 4-1 advantage. Webster and Ryan Corn connected on the team's final tally in the 79th minute.
Freshman Andrew Bodt got his first start of the season and made three saves in his first collegiate victory.
The Fighting Owls return to action Tuesday at Hagerstown.
