APG Federal Credit Union Arena
Construction and renovation on the Susquehanna Center started in June of 2011. The original facility, which opened in 1968, has now doubled in size and currently provides increased opportunities for fitness in the Dixie Construction Fitness Center, as well as health & physical education classes.
The crown jewel of the new Susquehanna Center is the brand new APG Federal Credit Union Arena at Harford Community College. This state-of-the-art arena is home to three of HCC’s Fighting Owls athletic teams: men’s and women’s basketball and women’s volleyball.
As the largest indoor arena in the area, it will also be used for community and regional events, commencements, concerts, special events, student services, fundraising activities, meetings, conferences, and trade shows. For sporting events, the arena’s capacity is 2,500, and for events with floor seating, the number increases to 3,200.
