HCN Schedule for Chesapeake Sports Desk
BEL AIR, Md.—The May edition of Chesapeake Sports Desk, a monthly program which highlights high school and community college sports in Harford and Cecil counties, features the April 30 Harford men’s lacrosse game against CCBC-Essex.
The Fighting Owls eventually fell to the Knights, 15-9, in the Region XX semifinal game, but put up a valiant fight with freshman Ben Wilson (Bel Air, Md./Fallston) leading the way with three goals and two assists. Freshman keeper Tim Kemena (West Chester, Pa./West Chester Henderson) was also a big reason why the Owls gave Essex so much trouble. The rookie goalie tallied a career-high 19 saves as he manned the cage for Harford for the full 60:00.
