Fall Sports Hold First Practices on Campus

Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer & Volleyball Begin 2010 Season

BEL AIR, Md. - With the temperatures climbing toward triple digits in the dog days of summer, Harford Community College had an autumn feel to it on Monday, as three fall sports teams opened practice. The men's and women's soccer and volleyball teams were on campus preparing for the 2010 sports season.

The action picks up with preseason scrimmages in the middle of August, with the season openers right around the corner for all three programs. The Fighting Owls host a soccer doubleheader to begin the 2010 season on Friday, Aug. 27 against Gloucester CC at 4 p.m. at Harford Stadium.
