BEL AIR, Md.—The Harford baseball and softball games scheduled for Tuesday have been postponed due to already accumulated and additional predicted rainfall in the area. The men's and women's lacrosse games and the men's golf match are still on, as scheduled.
The Fighting Owls (20-12, 10-6 MDJUCO)) baseball game which was scheduled to be played at CCBC-Catonsville has been postponed to Friday at 2:00 p.m., while the Owls (7-19, 5-5 MDJUCO) home softball game against Catonsville will now be played on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Harford Softball Field.
This is the second time that the softball game against the Cardinals has been postponed, as the teams were originally scheduled to play on Saturday, April 11.
The men's lacrosse game against Montgomery College-Rockville will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Harford Stadium, while the women's team is slated to play at Howard with a 3:30 p.m. start time and the men's golf team will travel to Rockville for a match at 1:00 p.m. at Hamshire Greens Golf Course.
The Fighting Owls (4-8, 0-2 MDJUCO) lacrosse team will look to snap a three-game losing streak and earn their first conference win as they face the winless Knights (0-3) on Tuesday. The women's team (2-6, 1-3 MDJUCO) will also look to halt a three-game losing skid and will look to avenge a close, 13-11 loss to Howard earlier in the season, while the golf team (2-0-1, 1-0 MDJUCO) will look to keep its conference record perfect after opening the season with a forfeit victory over Frederick.
